About Us

Axiom EPM is a technology software and consulting company specializing in the sale, implementation, and support of Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) products. Our first priority is an unparalleled dedication to client satisfaction and expertise in providing sophisticated financial modeling solutions. Our strength and key focus is financial planning and analysis using the Business Objects EPM and Axiom Planning product suites.

The Axiom EPM management team has a 15 year proven record in providing EPM solutions to clients spanning a variety of industries including healthcare, financial services, hospitality, entertainment, manufacturing, high tech, and services. Leveraging this experience implementing EPM solutions for entrprise and mid-market companies was key in the development of the Axiom Planning suite of products, resulting in an application designed with Finance professionals in mind.

The management of Axiom EPM are leaders in performance management who are recognized for excellence in solution design, project management, client relationship development, and implementation best practices.

Michael D. Choi - Chief Executive Officer

As Chief Executive Officer, Mike is responsible for overall direction, company strategy, business development, and international expansion efforts.  With over 17 years of experience in the Enterprise Performance Management software industry, Mike has a proven track record of leading organizations through sustained growth and geographical expansion in management, technology, and marketing roles. Before joining Axiom EPM, Mike served as President/CEO of CPM Systems, Inc., guiding the company from its initial US expansion before its ultimate acquisition by Eclipsys in 2008.  Prior to CPM, Mike held a number of high level management roles at Business Objects and SRC Software, including SRC’s European expansion.  In addition, Mike has held pivotal roles in Sales Management, Marketing, Channel Development, and Product Management throughout his celebrated career.  

Mike has a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from the University of Washington.

Jason R. Guppy - Chief Operating Officer

As Chief Operating Officer Jason is responsible for the consulting services and support teams, as well as strategic oversight of product development.    He has extensive experience leading organizations as they translate the real-world needs of customers into enterprise-level financial software solutions.  Prior to co founding Axiom EPM, Jason served in a variety of management roles at SRC Software and Business Objects.   As the Chief Knowledge Manager for Business Objects Planning, Jason spearheaded development of systems and policies that empowered customers to leverage the full capabilities and value of their planning and reporting solutions.  As a Consulting Manager, he led his team to a 100% acceptance rate across hundreds of projects including over 100 implementations.  Prior to his software industry roles, Jason served as a Controller and Director of Finance for Avamere Healthcare.

Jason holds a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration from Oregon State University.

Todd W. McCoy, CPA - Chief Financial Officer

As Chief Financial Officer, Todd is responsible for all Finance, Accounting, and administrative functions of the organization.  Todd’s strong experience with treasury and cash management functions provides Axiom EPM extensive cash resources to optimize company operations.  His extensive finance background and technical expertise have led Todd to impart a strong influence on application development as well.  Prior to co-founding Axiom EPM, Todd worked as a Senior Consultant at SRC Software and Business Objects where he leveraged his accounting expertise to create efficient solutions for complex enterprise planning and reporting solutions.  Previously, Todd also worked at RGL Gallagher LLP and Key Bank.

Todd has a Bachelors in Business Administration from Boise State University.

Javan Smith - Director, Development

Javan has over 14 years software development and management experience, architecting, developing, and leading technical teams.  He has designed and built large, scalable enterprise applications in the finance and e-commerce industries and end-user products in healthcare, electronic design automation, and software configuration management.  He has managed quality assurance, IT and engineering teams, and has built a reputation for providing unmatched quality and innovation across the varying aspects he oversees.

Javan holds a Bachelors of Science in Computer Science from Oregon State University.

Jared Hodgson - Director, Support Services

Jared has 8 years of experience working in all phases of planning software implementation and post-implementation support for a variety of enterprise performance management applications.  His high level of technical proficiency and industry expertise have engaged him on some of the largest and most complex software environments around the world.  Jared has been involved in hundreds of successful software implementations, and his commitment to customer service is unsurpassed.  He has previously held positions as a Financial Analyst and Business Systems Analyst. 

Jared holds a Bachelors of Science in Business and Economics from George Fox University.
